The NCP Library is a special research repository of information on food, nutrition, and allied subjects. It was established in 1976 primarily to provide quality information to support programs and activities of the Center and its cooperating agencies.
The NCP Library is a member of the Nutrition Research and Information Network.
Collections The library collection adequately covers subjects on food, nutrition and other related fields. The library resources consist mainly of books grouped into Filipiniana and Foreign, then classified according to the Library of Congress Classification Scheme. In addition, periodicals and other special collections such as reprints, Philippine documents, and annual reports, newspaper clippings, NCP publications, and other valuable "fugitive" materials are available. We also have an extensive collection of audio-visual files.
